Hi! I'm Ilana! I am a Wife to my wonderful husband Ben, a mom to my 3 toddlers and a passionate hair and makeup artist. My love with makeup started before I could even spell “lipstick.” One of my youngest memories is sneaking into my mom’s makeup bag, carefully applying her blush and lipstick in front of my bedroom mirror, and wiping it all off before anyone could catch me. Even back then, there was something magical about how makeup could transform not only a face but also confidence.
By high school, I was the go-to for doing my friends’ hair and makeup for events, or just for fun. They trusted me to make them feel beautiful, and I loved every second of it.
I always dreamt of being a hair & makeup artist, but for a long time, I didn’t believe it was a realistic career path. It wasn’t until after high school that I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream seriously. I packed my brushes (and my courage!) and enrolled in makeup artist school in Manhattan, NY.
Fast forward to today, and I’m living a dream I once thought was impossible. As a bridal makeup artist, I have the privilege of helping brides feel their most radiant on their special day.
